Positive session in Asia on China stimulus hopes: Market Summary

Hang Seng rising 1.10% to 20,047 and Shanghai Composite gaining 0.63% to 3273.33. The Wall Street Journal reported Beijing officials are considering a stimulus package by issuing roughly one trillion yuan, equivalent to about $140 billion of special treasury bonds. In Japan BoJ Governor Ueda kept an ultra-easy monetary policy on Friday despite stronger-than-expected inflation, adding pressure on the Japanese Yen and helping the Nikkei to sustain its prolonged rally. USD/JPY trading at 141.18 , up 0.66% and Nikkei 225 up by 0.66% to 33,706.08.

European equities opening on weak gains , with Euro Stoxx 50 at 4,372.05, up by 0.16%.

Crude Oil WTI unchanged at 70.78 $/barrel and Gold trading at 1,972.50 , +0.09%. EUR/USD unchanged at 1.0939 before Eurozone CPI data that will be released at 9 GMT.

In US yesterday Dow Jones Industrial Average DJI closed at 34,408.06 up 1.26% , S&P 500 closed at 4,425.84 ,+ 1.22% while NASDAQ Composite advanced by 1.15% to 3,782.82.

Eurozone CPI data will be released at 9 GMT.
